Bill Clinton, back on the trail, defends Clinton Foundation

Trump’s tweet seems to suggest that reporters and media executives – and presumably her own doctor – are giving Clinton a free pass when it comes to her health. The Clinton campaign has repeatedly attacked Trump over his grasp of foreign policy issues, scrutinizing his temperament in an effort to raise questions about how he would conduct global diplomacy.

But the lack of Spanish advertising during the general election especially has prompted some Democrats to voice concern that Clinton is taking the Latino vote for granted, warning that millions of dollars need to be spent to remind millions of Hispanic voters to register and cast ballots. The media story led to congressional investigations, which led to the appointment of a special prosecutor, Ken Starr, whose dogged pursuit of the Clintons would make Inspector Javert look like The Dude, with the eventual result being Bill Clinton’s impeachment in 1998.
