He shifted focus on the republican Donald Trump saying that the alternative was not even close to what Hillary would offer America. For those who vote for me and those who don’t.

She is the first woman nominee of a major U.S. party and told the convention that the achievement was special “for grandmothers and little girls and everyone in between”. The former secretary of state reached out to her former party opponent Bernie Sanders disappointed voters and said, “I want to thank Bernie Sanders”. “…if you’re serious about our democracy, you can’t afford to stay home just because she might not align with you on every issue”, the President said, as several delegates kept their “No TPP” placards up throughout hit speech. “I sweat the details”, be it the amount of lead permissible in drinking water or the cost of prescription drugs. “We will rise to the challenge, like we always do”, she said.
Hillary Clinton accused Donald Trump of painting a misleadingly dark picture of American society. “And that’s why I can say with confidence, there has never been a man or a woman, not me, not [former President] Bill [Clinton], nobody more qualified than Hillary Clinton to serve as president of the United States of America”.
“He’s taken the Republican Party a long way from “Morning in America” to midnight in America”.
And General John Allen, former commander of USA forces in Afghanistan, appeared on stage with other military veterans and gave Clinton a ringing endorsement as commander-in-chief.
“The threats are too great, the times too uncertain to let Donald Trump be president of the United States”.
Clinton’s high-stakes remarks on the closing night of the four-day convention followed a rousing speech by US President Barack Obama. Clinton asserted that Americans have to decide if they are willing to work together, in an effort to thrive together. He recalled how he met Hillary in Yale Law School, their struggles in life, and their good days as a family.
Clinton will accept the White House nomination later Thursday on the gathering’s final night, but Trump’s team exhorted Republicans to steer clear. “They don’t tell you why”, Clinton said.
