Bill Clinton: It’s about time I stood in for Hillary

It didn’t disclose donors for years, despite Hillary Clinton’s promise to Congress that her network of family foundations would do so.

Her campaign did not disclose the illness until Sunday, after video circulated on social media showing her stumbling and being supported by aides after abruptly leaving a 9/11 memorial service in New York City.

Shalala’s comments come as the Clinton Foundation is targeted by Republican nominee Donald Trump and his GOP allies in the presidential race. “She’s feeling great, and I think she’ll be back out there tomorrow”, Clinton said of his wife, who plans to campaign Thursday in North Carolina.

That’s a pretty big admission and insight on Hillary’s health, and may have been a little too much for CBS Evening News honchos, as the interview was edited to exclude the “frequently” remark, making it seem that this hasn’t been a problem for Hillary Clinton in the past.

Mrs Clinton had planned to campaign on Wednesday in Las Vegas.

They were mostly white, sometimes small, often forgotten towns – tucked away in coal country or some other part of the country not often visited by candidates or former presidents.

“We need to hear directly from the candidate at this point in the election”, a longtime Clinton ally and Democratic National Committee member, said. “It never happened. It just did not happen”, Shalala said. You know I’ve been around this business for a long time and as far as I can see, there has been no pay for play.

Republican Rick Tyler, who worked on Ted Cruz’s 2016 presidential bid, said that if Trump does raise those issues, they will “fall on deaf ears”. “She had a good night’s sleep she’s doing fine”, he said.

Speaking in Philadelphia, and spurred on by his daughter Ivanka, he waded into topics more often discussed by Democrats as he tries to build his appeal with more moderate, independent voters – especially women. With the Clinton Foundation under election-year scrutiny, he’s pledged that this year will mark the last CGI gathering, regardless of the outcome of the election.

At a campaign rally in northern Virginia, Obama will work to convince her and her husband’s supporters that Clinton is also worthy of their votes. While acting as an informal campaign spokesman, he accidentally stirred up more speculation about what’s actually wrong with her.

The event at the legendary and ritzy Rainbow Room restaurant will serve two purposes: Raising money for Clinton’s foundation and celebrate the former president’s 70th birthday.
