Bill Clinton keeps up pressure on Bernie Sanders
Along with feminist icon Gloria Steinem, she criticized young women for picking Sanders over Clinton.

Clinton won women overall in Iowa by 11 percentage points.
The former president’s more aggressive attacks of Sanders started over the weekend, where he suggested that the Vermont senator was a hypocrite on the issue of campaign finance and called into question Sanders’ honesty. “[Hillary]’s getting it from the right, she’s getting it from the left”, Cllinton said.
Mr. Clinton’s verbal bludgeoning of Mr. Sanders seems to come with dual motivations – limit losses in New Hampshire and sway as many undecided voters as possible to Mrs. Clinton’s side, and also to shore up the campaign’s Southern “firewall” in SC and beyond by planting doubts in the minds of Democrats about Mr. Sanders’ qualifications and electability.
If Sanders does not win New Hampshire by double digits, the results will be viewed as a victory for Clinton. “In private [the Sanders campaign] sent an e-mail complaining [about the Democratic National Committee] leaving the keys in the auto, and said, ‘all I did was drive off'”.
It’s a line of attack that may end up working no better in the Democratic primaries than it did in the Republican primaries, true believers aren’t easily swayed with facts, but that’s weakened by Bill Clinton hitting his own weak point.
Hillary Clinton blasted the “state’s neglect” for the ongoing water crisis in Flint, Michigan, during an emotional visit Sunday to an African-American church in the city. Even though she likes Clinton and voted for her in the 2008 primary, she said there’s just something special about the 74-year-old Sanders that even reminds her of a young John F. Kennedy.
“In a case of talk-show Interruptus, I misspoke on the Bill Maher show recently, and apologize for what’s been misinterpreted as implying young women aren’t serious in their politics”, she said in Sunday Facebook post.
“I think Granite Staters are pretty hardy”, Clinton said.
Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN)Hillary and Bill Clinton didn’t back off their critiques of Bernie Sanders during a rally in Manchester on Monday, despite receiving some negative press for them the day earlier.
Bill Clinton appeared visibly frustrated at criticism over his wife’s ties to Wall Street as he spoke to a crowd of about 300 at a middle school in Milford, New Hampshire.

“He says anybody that doesn’t agree with me is a tool of the establishment, anybody who takes money from Goldman Sachs couldn’t possibly be president”. “Well after that CNN report yesterday he may have to tweak that answer a little bit. I don’t think so”, he argued, continuing: “The New Hampshire I knew would not have voted for me if I had done that”.
