Bill Clinton slams Trump: Hillary ‘never made fun of people with disabilities’
Why then, many people asked Wednesday morning, was the image of Bill Clinton on the front pages of newspapers across the country? Carter also spoke of Clinton’s integrity while warning of the dangers of a Trump presidency.

Clinton’s husband, former president Bill Clinton, got a kick out of it.
Her speech contrasted with Trump’s acceptance address last Thursday in Cleveland, where the NY billionaire was brimming with policy ideas, which nearly sounded like it was a State of the Union address.
Bill Clinton took the stage at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday, where he shared a touching story about his meet-cute with wife Hillary Clinton while attending Yale Law School together. Her grand-daughter, Maya Barnes, will be voting in her first election in November and says, “Obama opened the gates for change, and I’m glad that we have Hillary because I’m female, and I need someone that’s female in office for once”. “It’s a little bit more complicated with him because people still call former presidents Mr. President, so I have to really work on this”, Hillary said.
“I turned red, and she laughed that big laugh of hers”.
“They are pitch fork angry and they don’t want America’s nicest grandma”, said Maher. A couple days later, I remember, I saw her again, she was wearing a long white flowery skirt.
In what is certainly a first at a Democratic convention, he invoked two of the most controversial Republicans of his time, Tom DeLay and Newt Gingrich, as character witnesses for her. He told the tale of his romance with Hillary: “In the spring of 1971, I met a girl…”
It’s a hard task, one that the Clinton campaign has been preparing for since she clinched the Democratic nomination last month. “But you know what?”
“Would [Bill] be the first man?”
But a burst of comments at the end of Bill Clinton’s lengthy remarks about immigrants, Muslims, and black Americans stirred up wider controversy.
Kimmel suggested calling Bill “the first president lady” while Hillary suggested “first dude, first mate, first gentleman”.

By the middle of next week, if the normal rules of politics apply, we’ll see the effect: a clear bounce for Clinton.
