Bill Cosby Got His Quaaludes From A Gynecologist, New Documents Have Revealed
Cosby’s source for the drug-known for inducing disorientation and euphoria- emerged after a 10-year-old deposition from a closed sexual-assault civil case against Cosby surfaced, according to The Washington Post.

According to the Washington Post, Cosby made appointments with Amar to obtain seven Quaalude prescriptions under the guise of a “sore back”.
Dr. Leroy Amar was a gynecologist who ran in the same circles as Cosby in Los Angeles and was happy to fill out prescriptions for the disgraced actor.
In that deposition Cosby was asked about Amar; ‘Did he know when he gave you those prescriptions that you had no intention of taking them?’.
One of Constand’s lawyers detailed an incident in which Cosby allegedly drugged the win of aspiring singer Tamara Green.
Despite Amar’s defense there, however, the Post indicates that he was not only negligent in his practice, but also practically inept.
In the deposition, Cosby repeatedly says he did not know Green and had no recollection of meeting her during a singing audition that she said had been arranged by Amar. He warned the comedian never to do it again. In that instance, the doctor ultimately decided to “confront Cosby, nearly coming to blows”.
He eventually had his license reinstated in 1985, but he never practiced again in California.

Amar died in 2002, but the documents keep clearing up the picture of just how meticulous Cosby was in his desire to find women with their guard down. Instead, they say he merely admitted to using the quaaludes, prescribed by Amar, as everybody else was at the time, “There are countless tales of celebrities, music stars and wealthy socialites in the 1970s willingly using Quaaludes for recreational purposes and during consensual sex”. He also helped an unlicensed business partner to practice medicine. His operation history included multiple botched plastic surgeries which left women with deformed, hardened or uneven breasts. After learning of such disciplinary issues, The Maryland medical board placed him on probation. In 2001, the physician died in Los Angeles.
