Camille Cosby, wife of alleged serial rapist Bill Cosby, is scheduled to testify Wednesday in a defamation case against her husband after a judge struck down her request to halt her impending deposition.

“I find no merit in Mrs Cosby’s arguments”, the judge said in the order, “and accordingly deny her motion in its entirety”.
The Massachusetts civil lawsuit against Cosby was filed in December 2014 by Ms Tamara Green, later joined by six other women, who contend that Cosby sexually assaulted or abused them, that each publicly accused Cosby and that he responded by calling the women liars, thus defaming them.
Bill Cosby has been accused by dozens of women of sexual misconduct, with many of them coming forward in the past year.
Cosby, a once-beloved cultural icon, also appeared in court in Pennsylvania on Wednesday to face felony charges of sexual assault dating back to 2004.
A day after a Pennsylvania district attorney charged him for allegedly assaulting a woman over a decade ago, comedian Bill Cosby thanked his supporters on Twitter.
A lawyer for the women, Joseph Cammarata, argued last month that he should be able to question Camille Cosby because he believed she had “information that’s relevant to the litigation in this matter”.
Lawyers for Bill Cosby plan to appeal Hennessy’s ruling, according to the New York Times.
Lark Voorhies and Bill Cosby are both beloved television stars of the 90’s, but that did not stop the actress from spouting some scathing words about Cosby following rape allegations from at least 55 women.
The couple has been married for more than 50 years, and Camille is also her husband’s business partner.
Cosby has filed a countersuit, accusing the women of making false allegations for financial gain.
Cosby was charged this week with the first criminal case he will face following numerous sexual assault claims made public in 2015.

On Thursday, Cosby simply tweeted, “Friends and fans, Thank You”.
