Bill Cosby statue removed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios after sedatives-before

It comes after newly released court documents showed Cosby once admitted to buying sedatives to give to women he wanted sex with.

Since the Bill Cosby drug-raping scandal started picking up steam in the past few years or so, Whoopi Goldberg, longtime co-host on ABC’s The View, has emerged as one of the comedian’s most vocal defenders. “For me, it’s about women using their voice”, she said.

On Monday, news surfaced that Cosby testified in 2005 that he gave women drugs for the goal of sex.

Beverly Johnson says Wednesday on NBC’s “Today” show that she knew that after so many women came forward and told their story that the truth would come to light.

She also said that because the unsealed material does not include Cosby’s full answers, supporters could argue that the “seminal question of his admission to administering Quaaludes to sex partners was taken out of context”. “I don’t care. I say this because this is my opinion, and in America, still, I know it’s a shock, but you are still innocent until proven guilty”, she said, concluding, “He has not been proven a rapist”.

Meanwhile, the L.A. Times reported that the cable network Bounce TV, which had been one of the last TV outlets airing Cosby programming, announced plans to pull reruns of “Cosby” from its schedule, effective immediately.

“It’s been extremely difficult for my two children and my fiancé and my friends and it has been extremely hard for me”.

Cosby has never been charged with a crime and has repeatedly denied the allegations.

Another of Cosby’s defenders, ex- co-star Phylicia Rashad, has so far not commented on the unsealed documents.

“The women have been saying they’ve been drugged and abused, and these documents appear to support the allegations”, said Joe Cammarata, who represents Therese Serignese.

Cosby’s attorney, Martin Singer, had previously slammed Janice Dickinson’s claims, and referred to her 2002 autobiography.

The case was settled for an undisclosed amount in 2006. Johnson said that she doesn’t believe Cosby sexually assaulted or raped her and that she doesn’t remember arriving home.
