Bill Murray Angrily Tosses Fans’ Phones Off Roof At Carmel Restaurant
While attending a party at a Carmel, Calif. restaurant thrown by Justin Timberlake, Murray reportedly snapped when fans began taking photos of him with their cell phones, according to Gossip Cop.

He has since cooperated with police on the matter and has agreed to pay for the damage made to the phones. Two of the phones were thrown from the rooftop to the sidewalk, damaging them, while the third phone did not sustain damage, Tomasi said.
The owner of the restaurant also told TMZ Bill had not been drinking at the bar but got angry when “a few patrons got star struck and took his picture”. The thing that makes all the one-off Bill Murray stories we’ve heard previously great is that the happened organically. I’m assuming right after he turned to them and stoically said “No one will ever believe you” before he disappeared into the night.
A sober Murray then proceeded to throw their phones off of the two-storey building, which is home to the Vesuvio Lounge.
“He acknowledged that he was there and said he is willing to replace the property that was damaged”, said Tomasi.
The police commander added that no further action will be taken against the Lost in Translation star since the owners of the phones do not wish to press charges. The victims countered that idea and said they were not taking his photo.

Scott says the incident’s making him change his policy – no phones and no pictures, since celebs come in a lot.
