Bill on Hillary Clinton: ‘The Best Darn Change-Maker I’ve Ever Met’
Former President Bill Clinton took the stage Tuesday at the Democratic National Convention to offer a deeply personal and powerfully enthusiastic endorsement for his wife, the first female nominee from a major political party running for the very office he himself held.

Clinton’s husband, former president Bill Clinton, portrayed her in a speech to the convention as a dynamic force for change as he made a case for her White House bid.
Delegates erupted in cheers as Mr Sanders helped make it official when the roll call got to his home state of Vermont – an important show of unity for a party trying to heal deep divisions.
Polls show her neck-and-neck with Republican rival Donald Trump, and the second-most unpopular nominee in modern history behind Trump.
She put an electrifying cap on the Democratic convention’s second night, appearing by video from NY and declaring to cheering delegates, “We just put the biggest crack in that glass ceiling yet”. This is really your victory.
“Tonight, we are closer than ever to putting a woman in the White House”, she said. Her supporters noted that Clinton’s achievement came almost a century after women gained the right to vote in 1920. Yet still, despite it all, enjoying one more chance to make history. “This should be all about Hillary – and Bernie helping her to be the first woman president of the United States – and someone in the room has got to celebrate that”. Critics of the bill say that it placed an emphasis on more policing rather than better policing, and that this, again, harmed black communities.
“In the spring of 1971, I met a girl”.
“He has some places where he wants to campaign beyond what we would consider battlegrounds”, Podesta said.
In an interview with Telemundo released Monday, presumed Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine said that Hillary Clinton would push for immigration reform in the first 100 days of her administration.
Not once did the former president mention opponent Donald Trump’s name, but he drew a sharp comparison to the former reality television star.
“The real one calls you when you’re sick, when your kid’s in trouble, or when there’s a death in the family”. But unlike the GOP convention in Cleveland, Democratic speakers made a concerted effort to mix the criticism with upbeat remarks about the nation and their party.
Bill Clinton addressed the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday in support of his wife and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Hoopla and celebration gave way to somber moments as the convention showcased “mothers of the movement” – women whose children died in gun violence.
Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, a Florida teen killed in 2012, said that no mother “would have signed up” for the assignment.
“Remember the children” This isn’t about being politically correct. “This right now, is the greatest country on earth”, she said. Hillary Clinton, by contrast, has always struggled with authenticity; in this campaign, she’s faced questions about her trustworthiness.
The significant time devoted to the testimonials underscored the campaign’s concerns about how voters view Mrs Clinton. He’s had flashes of frustration this year, particularly when his own record on trade and law enforcement has been challenged by the party he once led, but has largely stuck to the campaign’s messages.

“If you were sitting where I am sitting and you have heard what I have heard at every dinner conversation, every lunch conversation, every long walk, you would say this woman has never been satisfied with the status quo in anything”. Several hundred people gathered at Philadelphia’s City Hall under a blazing sun Tuesday chanting “Bernie or bust”.
