Bill Snyder: Snyder looking for steadiness in bye
Kansas State coach Bill Snyder went crashing to the ground Saturday when the Wildcats’ Morgan Burns collided with Snyder on the sideline at the end of a kickoff return.

But like Snyder said, this K-State team isn’t only dealing with a three-game losing streak, but is coming off the worst home loss in school history – a 55-0 drubbing at the hands of Oklahoma last Saturday.
The Wildcats head into their bye this week before hitting a monster Thursday game against Baylor on November 5. “We can’t afford another loss or I think spirits are going to go down and we can’t afford that”.
Now, a tired and yearning Wildcat team heads south to take on Texas, a team that has had its own success deficiencies this season but seemingly turned the corner two weeks ago with a 24-17 win over the same Oklahoma team that ruined K-State’s homecoming on October 17.
K-State went on to score its only touchdown of the game a few minutes later.
Basically, Bill Snyder is tougher than most of you. Good on you, Coach. “That’s what we need him to do”.
That 2013 team Davis referred to recovered and ended up winning six of their last seven games, including beating Michigan in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl to wrap up a successful 8-5 campaign.
“It’s a hard time”, Snyder said. After the Red River debacle, many fans wondered how Oklahoma’s mental state would be as they prepared to face the well-coached Wildcats in Manhattan, a team with, just like Texas, a run-first philosophy.

Senior left tackle Cody Whitehair said the season doesn’t get any bigger for the Wildcats than this weekend’s game at Texas, where K-State last won in 2011.
