NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Titans haven’t controlled a game for as long as they needed to since opening day in Tampa Bay. A third and 25 conversion by Taylor would prove to be one of the biggest plays of the game. Offensively, quarterback Tyrod Taylor continues to turn heads by completing 71 percent of his passes for 988 yards with eight touchdowns while wide receiver Sammy Watkins could return from a one-week absence with a calf injury.

Taylor heaved a 46-yard bomb to Chris Hogan, who made a terrific catch, to give the Bills first and goal from the 7.

-Buffalo finally got on the board with just over a minute remaining in third quarter when Tyrod Taylor took a quarterback draw 22 yards to the end zone for a touchdown. Tennessee drafted quarterback Marcus Mariota in the first round during the offseason and now the Titans are 1-2 for the year after coming off a loss to the Colts by a 35-33 final score and then having a bye week. The Titans could very easily be 3-1 right now if not for two late collapses. Tennessee lost to the Colts in Week 3, but were a successful two-point conversion away from sending the contest into overtime.

On the season, the Titans average 249.7 yards in passing and 126.0 yards in rushing.

Tennessee extended its lead to 10-0 when Antonio Andrews ran 1 yard for a touchdown with 6:51 left.

The Titans scoring drive was set up when the Bills’ Denarius Moore fumbled a punt return. Instead of trying to climb back to.500, the Titans could have been attempting to build on an even record. The Titans were unable to run the ball consistently all day.

Ryan Succop’s 41-yard field goal with 9:36 left extended the Titans lead to 13-7. The Titans’ Zach Brown was flagged for a 15-yard personal foul penalty when he tackled him with a horse collar. They were staring an embarrassing loss in the face and on the verge of falling to 2-3 on the season. They were idle this week.
