Bills’ Dareus faces 4-game suspension
It’s bad news for a defense that’s already been hit hard by injuries.

Dareus is facing a four-game suspension for a repeat violation of the NFL’s substance abuse policy, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Dareus’ suspension is the result of either failed or missed tests for marijuana. Bills linebacker IK Enemkpali also will miss the season because of a knee injury.
Dareus signed a six-year, $108 million contract with the Bills last September, locking up the two-time Pro Bowler for the foreseeable future. First-round pick and pass rusher Shaq Lawson will miss the start of the season, and perhaps a significant portion of the season, after shoulder surgery.
This is the second suspension Dareus has faced for violating the league’s policy on substance abuse. Meanwhile, running back Karlos Williams is going to be suspended for the first four games of the National Football League season, and safety Aaron Williams is dealing with a concussion.

Marcel Dareus still could appeal four-game suspension, but Bills now are in grave danger of losing yet another key defensive player. Bryant finished the 2015 season with 45 tackles.
