Bills DT Williams out for season

Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams will miss the rest of the 2015 season, needing surgery to fix his injured knee.

Williams suffered meniscus damage in an October 18 game against the Cincinnati Bengals and was carted off the field. “It’s unfortunate because I know nobody has tried to get out here more than he has”. I’ve got plenty of that left to give. “I want to see every goal, every dream I’ve had since I’ve been here 10 years ago, I want to see it come true”.

“I’m going to give you what I’ve got until I can’t”, Williams said.

The defensive line lost another Pro Bowl starter in Mario Williams.

Before the injury, Williams was playing well. “I’ve been really trying to do it and it’s just not responding”.

The 6-foot-4, 323-pound Bryant started all 16 games with the Jacksonville Jaguars last season, when he had 22 tackles, one forced fumble and two tackles for loss. After weeks of unsuccessful treatment, it looks like Williams will be shut down for the year. “I have no plans to not play anymore if that’s what you’re asking me”.

Ryan doesn’t want to cut bait on a player who had 22 sacks in the three seasons prior to his arrival in Buffalo, and as a coach who depends on veteran leadership, he will obviously want Williams close to the action throughout the healing process. “So that’s what my plan is”. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor (right shoulder), after throwing Thursday and Friday, is probable, as are defensive tackle Marcell Dareus (knee) and safety Bacarri Rambo (shoulder). Both running back Charcandrick West (hamstring) and tight end Travis Kelce (groin, ankle) are questionable to play.
