Bills expected to sign RB Bush

That could be another reason why the Bills only chose to sign running back to a one-year deal.

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Running back Reggie Bush wasn’t going to let a freak accident on the concrete surface ringing the Edward Jones Dome field in St. Louis end his career. The two were former teammates in Miami where Incognito and his Dolphins teammates helped Bush rack up the first 1,000-yard rushing season of his career in 2011.

“I have to remind some people that I still got it”, said Bush.

Reggie Bush will have a chance to come in and compete for the starting job considering Karlos Williams will miss the first four games of the 2016 National Football League season.

Bush was spotted at the Bills’ training camp facility outside Rochester around noon.

“We’re bringing him in to do specific things with him offensively, put him in certain packages, but I want him fresh and, quite honestly, I want to put a little fear out there with those defenses”, Ryan said.

But coach Rex Ryan has never been afraid to kick the tires on a veteran player, and if Bush has anything left, he could be worth the one-year investment.

Until I officially decide to be done with this game I’m going to give it 110 percent whether it’s rehabbing, whether it’s in the weight room, whether it’s on the football field. “He’s a dynamic player and I really think it’s a great fit for him”. He did have three straight solid seasons in his late-20’s, but in his 5 games last season, he carried the ball just 8 times for the 5-11 San Francisco 49ers. He has returned just 100 punts for 781 yards, but does have four touchdowns.

Despite his diminishing skills, most linebackers and even some nickel cornerbacks will not like to see Bush motion out to the slot where he’d have ample space to separate. Another reserve, Jonathan Williams, was arrested for DWI in mid-July. Kicker Marshall Morgan was released, meaning that for now, Dan Carpenter seems to have the placekicking job locked down.
