Bills fall into 0-2 hole after Thursday night’s loss to Jets

Yes, in one of the more inexplicable National Football League personnel decisions of late, and there have been plenty, the Bills chose to part ways with Roman, who led the team to a promising 31-point performance against a good Jets defense on Thursday. “I’ve always thought he was a tremendous coach, and I still believe that”.

“That’s something we definitely talked about going into the game”, Taylor said. “Usually, when things like that happen, everything goes numb”.

Marshall recovered the Bills’ onside kick attempt, and the Forte ran the clock down to 10 seconds before the Bills got the ball back one final time.

“I should have”, Bowles said of going for the conversion. And any thought that offensive coordinator Chan Gailey would like Forte’s work load after more than 2,000 carries with the Bears went out the window, as the back had 30 rushing attempts vs. the Bills.

“I went up to him during the game and said, ‘Man, you’re hot right now, ‘” Marshall said.

Matt Forte rushed for 100 yards and three touchdowns, Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 374 yards and a touchdown, and the Jets beat the Buffalo Bills 37-31 on Thursday night at New Era Field.

Marshall caught a slant pass and appeared to sustain a serious injury when his left knee twisted beneath him while cornerback Stephon Gilmore brought him down by the facemask. Give them credit. They returned to this haunted house, lost their poise on three long touchdown plays (including another Darrelle Revis torching), but they refused to stay down.

“After every single game I meet with ownership and this morning I met and I informed ownership of my decision and they were supportive of it”, said Ryan of the Pegulas. “I don’t know if he’s a track star, but he’s just a fast receiver”. “But when he stepped back in the huddle later on it was such a surprise, but it was a relief as well”. In the end, he looked so good that his teammates felt comfortable joking about what had been a scary situation. And who can they possibly get either through free agency or the draft? It was. we just didn’t make the plays. “And we love having him with us”. The catch helped set up Decker’s 5-yard touchdown catch that put the Jets up 20-7.

The Bills are now 0-2 with Arizona and a road game in New England next on the schedule. He has been Ryan’s RBs coach for several seasons, going back to his New York Jets tenure.

Though Buffalo scored 31 points on Thursday night, seven came as a result of safety Nickell Robey-Coleman returning Jalin Marshall’s fumble 36 yards for a touchdown. Then the Jets had to sweat out an onside kick recovered by Marshall to seal the victory for NY.
