Bills’ LeSean McCoy having test on injured left hamstring

McCoy left Tuesday’s practice with a hamstring strain and will receive an MRI.

McCoy pulled up short and started limping during 7-on-7 drills about an hour into Tuesday night’s practice. The former Philadelphia Eagle was at the center of one of the bigger offseason trades, and given the quarterback concerns the organization has heading into the 2015 season, McCoy’s importance can not be overstated.

It has reached the point where running backs on the Buffalo Bills believe that some sort of evil spell has been cast over them.

Maybe Dixon and the other backs who call the injury epidemic a curse are onto something. Seale had just signed with Buffalo earlier in the day after Karlos Williams was taken to a hospital and had an undisclosed medical procedure on Monday.

Veteran Fred Jackson has been out for almost all of training camp with a hamstring injury. Ryan said Robert Woods missed practice on Tuesday after experiencing tightness, without specifying.

The coach acknowledged the team’s number of hamstring injuries was “unusually high”, and said he didn’t think it was the result of poor conditioning. “I don’t know fellas”.
