Bills RB McCoy out indefinitely after hamstring setback
The two noticeable names that, as expected, will not play on Sunday are running back LeSean McCoy and wide receiver Sammy Watkins.

Ryan initially said he’d never use the word “out” after the two players missed their second straight day of practice yesterday. The Bills’ blitz packages caused major problems for Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill on Sunday. After looking bad in a Week 1 win over the Redskins, Miami lost a close game to the lowly Jaguars during Week 2 before getting trampled by the Bills last weekend. In four of the past five seasons, the Bills have started at least 2-1. “He’s outstanding as a blocker, outstanding receiver with matchup issues if you’re trying to play man against him”.
“One thing I promised myself is I can’t go out there if I’m not 100-percent”, McCoy said. Mariota led all rookies with 833 yards passing, eight touchdowns and a passer rating of 109.2 He tied Mark Rypien for the most TDs by any player in his first three National Football League games. Sammy Watkins is dealing with calf issues that might keep him off the field as well. It was a sluggish outing for McCoy, who was eventually benched for Karlos Williams when the game was out of hand. The Bills had a tough time getting him involved in the first two games, but had little trouble against the Dolphins. Taylor is the first Bills quarterback to complete more than 70 percent of his passes and throw for at least seven touchdowns over the first three games since Jim Kelly in 1991.
What both of these statistics show is that the Bills’ offense, with Tyrod Taylor at the helm, is humming with 100 points which ranks third in the NFL.
Percy Harvin reunited with Rex Ryan in the off season, and he leads Buffalo with 16 receptions and 192 receiving yards.
– Unlike McCoy and Watkins, the Bills did have starting safety Aaron Williams at practice in a limited capacity all week.
The way McCoy has performed while at much less than 100 percent gives Williams quite an example to follow.

Williams said Tuesday that before the season he wanted to learn and contribute on special teams. The running back has been gutting out a hamstring injury that is preventing him from playing at full speed and now it looks like rest is in the books for the workhorse.
