Bills receiver Sammy Watkins active for game against Jets

Does everyone remember those sick red uniforms the Buffalo Bills wore last season when we played the Jets in Week 10?

Ryan Fitzpatrick averages 1.3 TDs and 0.8 INTs per simulated game; Bills QB Tyrod Taylor, on the other hand, averages just 0.4 INTs for his 1.3 TDs.

There were two failed attempts, or opportunities, last season. The game will also be airing as a live stream online.

NY stormed back in the fourth quarter, marching down the field with multiple long completions from Ryan Fitzpatrick, leading to a Matt Forte touchdown and a 27-24 lead. Two losses are embarrassing.

Falling to 0-2 could be catastrophic for both, especially with the upcoming games they face. There’s so much overreaction, so much doom and gloom, that goes on week-to-week in the National Football League, especially early in the season, but an 0-2 start could just about destroy the Jets season.

Rarely, however, is a Week 2 game a must-win of sorts for any team. Squaring off against the Jets in a primetime Thursday night game the Bills must look to finally make some noise within the division. The progress we’ve seen from Taylor through the offseason and training camp indicates that last week’s performance is not the norm, and that it would be fair to expect him to come back at least to the level we came to know from him in 2015.

In addition, McCoy caught a pass along the right sideline and did not go out of bounds on the play.

The Jets must also learn from the mistakes made Sunday and play better. So the more we can get him the ball, the better we are as a team. Get it kicked through the goal.

REVIS ISLAND EXPOSED?: Concerns were raised whether Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis has lost a step after Bengals receiver A.J. Green had 12 catches for 180 yards and a touchdown last weekend. They have to show some consistency. With Sheldon Richardson returning from his one-game suspension to join Muhammad Wilkerson, Leonard Williams and free-agent signing Steve McLendon, the Jets’ line could prove very problematic for a Buffalo offensive line that will be without left tackle Cordy Glenn. He returns against Buffalo tonight, which makes this line with Leonard Williams and Muhammad Wilkerson even more potent, much more risky. Whichever team comes out on the losing end of tonight’s affair will likely find itself two games behind the Patriots in the AFC East once the Week 2 dust settles.
