Billy Bragg turns on ’20th Century Labour man’ Jeremy Corbyn
Michael Foster has given hundreds of thousands of pound to the party and made the claim that the Labour leader’s aides resemble member of the Sturmabteilung, the full name for Adolf Hitler’s SA.

The most recent polling puts Corbyn overwhelmingly ahead of contender Owen Smith, with bookies also fancying the incumbent.
Around 17% of voters said they would be less likely to vote Labour if Mr Smith was in charge. That tells us a great deal about the support that Jeremy Corbyn has here in our borough where Labour Party members and non members alike are enthused, engaged and energised. She said her party had more female MPs than others, but that the Conservatives “have a march on us” with their two women prime ministers. He told the Observer, “We will receive a report from Iain [McNicol] about the process that has gone on over the last few months”. And the NEC will no doubt ask him questions and he will probably give answers on it.
Those affected were given an opportunity to vote by paying an extra £25 to become “registered supporters” but the five insisted that was wrong and took their fight to the courts.
Moving the UK’s railways into public ownership would release cash to improve services and lead to lower regulated fares by as much as 10 per cent, according to research commissioned by the TUC and cited by Mr Corbyn’s leadership campaign.
In a statement, he said: “Cleethorpes Constituency Labour Party would like to place on record that this event is not endorsed by Labour”.
Mr Smith said he “completely disagrees” with this approach, adding: “People have tried to say because I’m somebody who worked for a biotech firm and a pharmaceutical firm that I’m somehow in favour of private provision in the NHS – I am opposed to it. I’d like to see them calling out some of the very worst ringleaders”, she said. Corbyn recently lost a vote of no confidence by Labour parliamentarians and faced mass resignations from his top team, the BBC reported. But Corbyn’s actions are not fundamentally the result of either naiveté or spinelessness.
“I’d like to see them actually praising the work that Labour MPs do around all sort of issues and say “Don’t you dare have a go at these people, they are doing a perfectly good job”.
But Bragg admitted he did not have a “simple answer” to the woes of the Labour Party.
The Labour Party is, by virtue of its programme and history, a pro-business party of warmongers.
It comes after confirmation that his leadership contest with Mr Corbyn will continue with the exclusion of around 130,000 new members, many of whom are believed to support the incumbent leader.
“Is this the new politics?”

“Unfortunately, given the costs involved in pursuing the case further (the fee for getting the case even heard at the Supreme Court is around £8,000), we have taken the decision that this is where this particular legal case has to stop”. Judges said Labour’s NEC was entitled to decide, under its rules, who should and shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
