The call suggested someone was drowning in a pool in Wake County just before 4 p.m., Captain Jimmy Stevens, with the Wake County Sheriff’s Department, said.
“He happens to be in a hospital ICU getting treatment that is exemplary”.
“There are no answers yet as to the outcome”, said the Facebook post.
“Danny Lotz, Anne’s husband, was found by Anne unresponsive in their pool around 3:45pm Monday August 17″. Company is standing in faith.
A Graham family friend told WNCN that Anne’s husband Danny, who has suffered diabetic seizures the past few years and is on dialysis, is the victim. She said her husband, a retired dentist in his late 70s, is receiving “excellent care” in the unnamed hospital. Young said Lotz leads a Bible study every Friday with 80-100 men in Raleigh and he’s done that for the past 30 years.
Danny Lotz, 78, was a former college basketball star.
