Bindi Irwin has won the United States series of Dancing with the Stars after dedicating her last routine to her late father.
After winning the Mirror Ball, Bindi and Derek (who has now earned the title of “DWTS” champion six times) were lifted into the air by their fellow dancers.
Adding: “Bindi deserved it, she kicked butt”.
One of the wildlife warrior’s routines was a fusion dance which she had only 24 hours to prepare for.
First she and Hough danced quickstep to Dr Bones, by Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, and then moved to a freestyle dance to Footprints in the Sand, by Leona Lewis.
Throughout the season, Bindi Irwin was not only lovely, charming, and graceful, but she certainly knew how to evoke an emotional response through her dancing as well.
On part one of the finale, she showed the last photo taken with her dad before he died. As always, comment below or tweet us @RealityBoxTV to give us your thoughts on Dancing With The Stars.
Irwin shared a photo of her family, including Steve Irwin, on Instagram following the performance.
“Not only have I learned about the world of sequins and sparkles and high heels, but to be blessed with this attractive family, I feel like my family has just been extended, even more than animals!” she joked about her co-stars.
Bindi, 17, took out the trophy last night after she was awarded another set of 10s for another flawless dance. “So nice people are welcoming me back”, he wrote, but warned, “Be careful what you wish for”.
