Birds are bursting into flames due to the highly intense focused rays of light

Birds flying over the Mojave Desert are bursting into flames because of the highly intense focused rays of light, which is generated by solar energy plant.

The Bright Source Energy Plant uses a process called the Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System, which uses more than 300,000 mirrors larger than garage doors to focus the sun’s power towards ‘power towers’, which can then power up to 140,000 homes.

In recent surveys, more than 28,000 birds could die within a year by this focused rays.

Report says that they fly in the danger zone in search of bugs that are drawn to lights, but as result they burst into flames because of the highly focused lights.

In another report, the plant creates so bright light that sometimes pilots flying in and out of Los Angeles and Las Vegas have trouble seeing.
