Biyombo stars as Raptors get back into series

Which begs the question – since Cavs’ guard Dahntay Jones was suspended for a similar action after hitting Raptors’ center Bismack Biyombo in the groin in Game 3, will Green, too, face the same punishment?

The Raptors trail the Cavaliers 2-1 in the Eastern Conference Finals. The league also fined Raptors coach Casey $25,000 on Sunday for his criticisms of the officiating.

Bismack Biyombo had 26 rebounds and he was a thorn in the side of any Cavalier that tried to roll through the paint and score points.

Unhappy with the foul discrepancy in the series, Casey pointed out the Raptors have been called for 73 fouls and the Cavaliers 46.

“I think our refs do a great job, and I think our league does a great job of protecting our players, and that’s all that matters”, James told reporters Sunday, per Doug Smith of the Star.

“Even though with our shooting in the 30s, it was still a five-point game at one point in the third quarter, but we know they’ll be much better”. Game 4 will be played Monday at Air Canada Centre. It’s imperative the Cavs get Love going because when he’s clicking on offense, the offense just seems to play better.

Jones one-game ban is hardly a loss for the Cavs, as the 35-year-old has logged just 20 total minutes of court time throughout Cleveland’s entire 11-game playoff run. He’s getting hit. There’s one play where they nearly have a brawl. “But there is a point in time where you say, ‘OK some of the guys are not going, maybe let me see if I can get it going”. Cleveland helped them out by totally moving away from its dominant inside offensive game and settling for threes that wouldn’t fall all night. “It’s not over with yet, but everybody thought we were going to get swept”. “That’s why I don’t really get involved into what everybody else talks about, because I knew it was a tough team that we were playing”. All they need to do is stay focused, relaxed and play within themselves the rest of the series and that should be enough for Cleveland to move on to the NBA Finals.

“I’m just trying to win the ball game and compete at the end of the day when the ball is up I’m not trying to make friends”. “But for whatever reason, I understand we have great officials, it’s a hard game to call, but some of those fouls are unbelievable”.
