BJ Penn will make his return to the Octagon at UFC 199 against Dennis Siver.
Penn said on his website, BJPENN.com, earlier this year that he was scheduled to return to the UFC octagon at UFC 196, but was later pushed back a month to UFC 197.
“We have taken a look at the available facts, which aren’t too substantial, and there are two stories of what happened”, UFC COO Lawrence Epstein told Yahoo!
But in January, Penn showed up at JacksonWink MMA in Albuquerque, N.M., and began training. Sports. “To date, there has no action at all taken by any law enforcement agency”.
According to KHON2 Mixed Martial Arts Analyst, and fellow Hall of Famer Frank Trigg, training with Jackson gives Penn his best chance at being victorious in his return.
Before the disappointing downswing, however, Penn cut a swath in MMA history as arguably the most dominant lightweight champion in promotion history, submitting Joe Stevenson for the belt in 2008 before defending it three times against Sean Sherk, Kenny Florian, and Diego Sanchez. We made a decision to allow B.J.to fight.

With that episode apparently now behind him, Penn will take a second stab at the UFC’s 145lb division against the 37 year-old Siver who is coming off back-to-back losses against Conor McGregor and Tatsuya Kawajiri. This boiling pot of bad blood also features the trilogy between UFC Bantam Weight Champion “The Domin8r” Dominick Cruz and “The California Kid” Urijah Faber.
