“Accused number 2 (Rahul Gandhi) has left for Chennai this morning”, he said.

Rahul Gandhi, alongside together with his mom Sonia Gandhi and 5 others, will seem within the trial courtroom in New Delhi on December 19 in reference to BJP chief Subramanian Swamy’s grievance within the National Herald case.

Naqvi accused the Congress of posing as a barrier in the country’s development with its repeated chaos in the Parliament over this issue.

Sonia Gandhi has remarked, ‘I am not scared because I am Indira Gandhi’s daughter-in-law’. Youth Congress president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring said.

Sonia Gandhi’s comment was the first after a Delhi court fixed December 19 for her appearance, as also of her son Rahul Gandhi before it in connection with the National Herald case. I have full faith in the judiciary. Proceedings at both Houses of Parliament were brought to a halt after Congress leaders protested against the Centre. “After the HC dismissed Gandhis” plea for quashing of summons, their lawyers had told the metropolitan magistrate that they were seeking exemption from personal appearances only for a day and that they were otherwise “very keen” to personally appear before the court. “We have clearly stated our stance to the government, we have three issues on which we differ with them”, he said. The tactical shift indicated that Congress wants to take the bull by its horns than letting its opponents set the agenda for it. “I absolutely see a political vendetta”, he said.

With Congress continuing to disrupt Parliament accusing the government of resorting to “political vendetta” targeting its leaders, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs M Venkaiah Naidu hit back, saying it was posing a “danger to democracy” by making Parliament “dysfunctional”. They (BJP leaders) are just trying to defame the Congress. We have the highest respect for the judiciary.

“There are two sets of law governing political parties- one for the ruling party and the other for the opposition”, he said and added, “We need justice, equal justice”.
