BJP demands CBI probe into Bulandshahr gang-rape
The Uttar Pradesh police is still looking for a group of men who waylaid a vehicle on the highway near Bulandshahr on Friday, tied up the men of a family and gang-raped a 35-year-old woman and her 14-year-old daughter. “The party and the central government stand by the family”.

Yadav’s response, however, is being touted as a “knee jerk” reaction – with the assembly elections just months away. Khan said that there can be opposition’s hand in the case to defame the government.
“To get power politicians can get down to any level, they can murder people, trigger riots, kill innocent people, so the truth has to be found out”, said the veteran politician. Khan’s insensitive comment also drew a lot of flak on the social media particularly on Twitter. Reports said the robbers tied male members with ropes and subjected the two females to gang rape. “It’s a matter of shame”.
Hence, he felt that the attackers are locals, he said. He said, “They (the perpetrators) should be punished every second”. If the government is not sensitive enough to these matters, it does not have any right to speak about people.
BJP MP from Bulandshahr Bhola Singh said, “It is a sad, painful incident”.
“We understand their pain”.
“We will have to change the house and also the daughter’s school”, he said. If we get into more details, number of people may be involved. This is an insult to the government.
“We were looted, beaten up and we all know what they did to my daughter…”
“I want my wife and daughter to punish them”.
“There were seven to eight men”.

The man alleged his efforts to contact police through telephone failed. After a massive manhunt which took place 3 hours after the incident happened 3 accused arrested in Bulandshahr Highway Gangrape case near NH 91. Meanwhile, Congress leader Shobha Oza asked CM Akhilesh to wake up and take action against the criminals. Police arrested three persons, Raheesudeen of Sutari village in Bulandshahr, Shahwaiz of Hapur district and Jabar Singh of Gautam Budh Nagar district. They are now under judicial custody for 14 days.
