BJP demands sacking of BSP leader over ‘abusive’ slogans
He said Singh, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely and even BJP expressed regret over Singh’s remark against Mayawati. “If the Samajwadi Government under the pressure of BJP doesn’t take action against Dayashankar then when the BSP forms the government it will order a thorough investigation into the matter”, she added.

An FIR was filed against Mayawati along with general secretary Siddiqui and others on Friday on a complaint of Dayashankar Singh’s mother Tetra Devi.
He said that although Singh himself had tendered an unconditional apology for his comments against BSP supremo Mayawati, but the BJP still considered his action unpardonable. I don’t think Dayashankar will be arrested and punished.
She also termed the FIR against her in Singh’s issue as “contempt of Parliament” and said that ruling SP has acted under pressure from the BJP. “The BSP will fight for the Dalits, poor and will demand justice for them”.
Amid a row over the use of foul language by BSP and BJP leaders against each other, Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha today said the “trend” started by the Mayawati-led party was not a good indicator for healthy politics.
“BJP is making him do this, they want to protect Dayashankar”, Mayawati said. Incidentally the BSP’s theme for the rally “Sarvajan Hitya-Sarvajan Sukhay” (welfare and wellbeing of all) is aimed at countering the BJP slogan of “sabka saath-sabka vikaas”, as the latter is out to woo the dalits and backward classes in UP.
“Ms Mayawati also vowed to take stringent action in the whole episode once BSP comes to power in UP, if Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, who calls her “‘Bua’ does not ensure the arrest and take stern action against Mr Singh”.

After Dayashankar Singh had sparked an outrage by his derogatory comments questioning the character of the BSP supremo, the party had on Thursday held a huge protest in Hazratganj and raised slogans against the expelled BJP leader’s family.
