Bargain hunters are mapping out their Black Friday plan as the big shopping day approaches. These usually go on between about 4 PM and 11 AM to draw people to the stores that prefer to shop in the evening hours rather than early in the morning, but you can find good deals no matter what time you venture out.
Research has also revealed that many Black Friday shoppers (40%) get carried away with self gifting – purchasing items for themselves and subsequently making an adjustment to their spending as a result.
The biggest shopping day is almost upon us, and stores are busy stocking shelves and promoting deals before Black Friday shoppers take over.

“When there are those sales that could be made, you know those – we feel that those merchants that want to open should have that ability to do so”, said Ryan Kearney of the Retailers Association of MA.

Black Friday has been positioned as a way for United Kingdom retailers to kick off their Christmas sales period but it could actually be proving detrimental to Christmas sales. But the manager said Kmart has been open on Thanksgiving for years.
