Black lives matter, too

An activist named Asa Khalif said they are “not satisfied” with the presidential candidates’ stance on police brutality and gun reform, adding that black people are “waking up and realizing the Clintons can’t sway us with delusions of grandeur”, USA Today reported.

Recently, Black Hollywood converged in front of the Los Angeles city hall to voice their concern and protest for the Black Lives Matter movement. Micah Johnson, an African-American veteran, chose to shoot the police officers because he was angry and fed up with watching other African-Americans being killed by police with impunity.

Kylie Bleau of Boston held up a large sign that said those who kill innocent cops get bombed – a nod to how police took out the Dallas shooter.

“The reason we’re all here is that there isn’t equal justice”, the 27-year-old said.

“This isn’t just a problem for black lives. So, in that respect, I find it hard to support the movement”, Sherman included.

The Seahawks star also shared his thoughts on the controversial Black Lives Matter movement and whether it’s effective in promoting racial equality. He then asked her to remove the button.

“It would have to be a united message”.
