BlackBerry’s first Android phone is available for purchase online, but it’s likely that the smartphone will hit the retail shelves in stores as well.

If youve been waiting for the Android-powered Blackberry to arrive at big Red, your wait is now over.

Design-wise, the BlackBerry Priv features a slider physical QWERTY keyboard and a stunning dual-curved-edge display, similar to the latest Galaxy S7 Edge. It comes equipped with 32 GB of built-in storage capacity and supports microSD card for further expansion of up to 2 TB. The handset also boasts an 18MP camera for photos and videos, a 3,410 mAh battery and ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop as its operating system. The Priv also has an 18-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. But what sets it apart from other smartphones is that it has a physical QWERTY keyboard, which was one of the selling points of Blackberry devices in its heyday.

The BlackBerry Priv is also available at AT&T and T-Mobile. The Priv also makes flawless sense if you are a previous BlackBerry user and would like to upgrade to an Android smartphone without compromising on the privacy and security features that previous BlackBerry handsets offered. Alternatively, you can choose to get the Priv at $30 per month for a period of 24 months.
