One of the men accused of killing a pastor’s pregnant wife in Indianapolis has been charged in another deadly robbery.

Larry Taylor, 18, was charged with murder and robbery Monday in connection with the November 4 shooting death of Rolando Gonzalez-Hernandez, 26.
A probable cause affidavit indicates three cooperating witnesses say Taylor told them he robbed and shot someone at the apartment complex where Gonzalez was found.
Six days later, prosecutors say, Taylor murdered Amanda Blackburn, 28, after he and 21-year-old Jalen Watson burglarized the unlocked home she shared with her husband Davey.
Taylor and Watson are also facing charges for a burglary and rape that happened at an apartment on November 3.
In this photo provided by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is Larry Jo Taylor Jr. One of the witnesses told police that Taylor had said he robbed and shot “a Mexican” and found only $10 in his wallet.
“We’ve charged Mr. Taylor with five very violent crimes in the course of an eight-day period and certainly in our five years in office that’s unprecedented”, he said in an interview. But Watson and Gordon talked him out of it, and the trio moved on to a second house. Investigators said the crime took place while the Blackburns’ 15-month-old son was lying in his crib upstairs. Gordon was not charged because he did not enter the home, police said, but he still faces two counts of burglary and two counts of theft in two earlier break-ins that same day.

In a statement posted shortly after on the Resonate Church’s Facebook page, Davey Blackburn said he was “extremely relieved” by the news of Taylor’s arrest and that he hoped “that Jesus would give me and our family a heart of forgiveness”.
