Frank Giustra and Tim Gamble, CEOs of Thunderbird Films, will both serve as executive producers on the Blade Runner sequel alongside Ridley Scott and Bill Carraro.

Now, we have a little sneak peak at what type of world we can expect to see next year.
Alcon Entertainment (via EW) has released the first official Blade Runner sequel concept art, which you can check out in the gallery below!
Now they just need to secure Vangelis.
In September it was reported that a company used in the past by Warner Bros., the studio behind the sequel, has registered the domain names bladerunnerandroidsdreammovie.com and androidsdreammovie.com, suggesting the sequel might be titled Blade Runner: Android Dreams or simply Androids Dream.
Meanwhile, it has also been announced that David Dastmalchian (Ant-Man) and Hiam Abbass (Munich) have joined the cast of the sequel, which is being directed by Denis Villeneuve (Sicario). It will be released on October 6, 2017.
“I remember the opening sequence perfectly, thousands of times”. “The climate has gone berserk – the ocean, the rain, the snow is all toxic”, Villeneuve says. “That removed so much pressure and gave me the key to move forward”.
Ryan Gosling costars with Ford, who is back as runner Rick Deckard – “he’s full of wisdom and good advice”, according to the filmmaker. And by this point, Los Angeles has spread to most of the West Coast, and the environment has become risky to humans.

Yeah, about that…One of the things you can see in the new concept art below is a massive vehicle which Villeneuve describes as a “Canadian wet dream”.
