J.J. Redick led the way with 15 points and All Star forward Blake Griffin added 14 in the loss.

The team returns to Los Angeles for a few days before leaving for a week in China. They booed Toronto’s arch-enemy Paul Pierce – who led the Washington Wizards in a sweep of the Raptors in last season’s playoffs. Luis Scola scored 13 points, and DeMar DeRozan finished with 11.

RAPTORS: Jonas Valanciunas, fresh off a strong EuroBasket performance in helping Lithuania earn an Olympic berth, had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Former Raptor Muggsy Bogues sat courtside with ex-Vancouver Grizzlies point guard Mike Bibby, who was visiting the city for the first time since the team relocated to Memphis in 2001.
