The papers also show that Blake filed a “petition for protective order”, which was approved on the same day. We are real people, with real lives, with real family, friends and colleagues.

The site, which broke the news of the divorce, claimed Shelton “heard rumors Miranda had hooked up with [Young] and thought it was believable enough to make him suspicious of her”. While the site hedged its bets, adding, “our sources say Chris was NOT the catalyst for the divorce, it was another guy, who is not a country singer”, Young’s name was already in the mix.

Whether the cheating allegations against Miranda are true or not, we are all still deeply saddened by the end of one of the music industry’s power couple.
