A blind man died of setting his cloths on fire accidentally when he was trying to heat a towel using the microwave.

It was reported that the 68 year old man, James Shaffer, from Stonycreek Township in Pennsylvania, was trying to heat his towel in microwave.
Soon the towel caught fire and he didn’t realize until the smoke spread in whole room.
He eventually somehow managed to get rid of fire but till then he suffered 80 per cent burns.
He was then immediately transferred to hospital, where he died.
The officer who was with him in ambulance, later said “He was very apologetic, he was telling us every couple of minutes that he was sorry, he should have known better”.
