Blind Sweepee Rambo crowned World’s Ugliest Dog

Meet this year’s victor of the World’s Ugliest Dog Contest at the Sonoma-Marin fair in California. The competition, which takes place as part of the Sonoma-Marin Fair, is surprisingly competitive, and the “World’s Ugliest” title has become a fiercely coveted one.

Also known as “Bat Dog”, four-year-old Rascal Deux is the fifth generation in the “Ugly Dog Dynasty”.

Jason Wurtz of Van Nuys, California, holds his dog Sweepee Rambo after winning the 2016 World’s Ugliest Dog contest.

[Image Jason Wurtz with Sweepee Rambo by Justin Sullivan/Getty Images]When Wurtz wrote out her contest entry, describing Sweepee as a “ride or die chick” who enjoys riding with her owner on his Honda motorcycle, he reportedly said Sweepee has a “baby-soft freckled skin and legendary blond Mohawk”.

Owner Heather Wilson said Himisaboo has a combover that mirrors presumptive Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump.

In last year’s competition, Quasi Modo a short-spined dog from Loxahatchee, Florida, took home the title against a field of 26 other entrants.
