NBC’s thriller about a mysterious woman whose tattoos point to crimes that Federal Bureau of Investigation agents then have to solve just became the first new fall series on network TV to get a full-season commitment.
Since its premiere on September 21, 2015, Blindspot has been averaging 9.6 million viewers.
Mark Pellington (“Cold Case”) and Marcos Siega (“The Vampire Diaries”), “Blindspot” revolves around a Jane Doe (Alexander) who wakes up in Times Square with no memories and a body covered head-to-toe in tattoos. It was revealed that she has been under a drug-induced amnesia, that’s why she can’t remember her past life. As a young Taylor Shaw in the past, Jane lived nearby Kurt’s house before she vanished and was thought dead.

However, it doesn’t take long before the police discover her true identity, but it appears there is still a lot to be uncovered, especially with regard to the tattoos all over her body. “Blindspot” is produced by Warner Bros. Television and stars Sullivan Stapleton, Jaimie Alexander, Audrey Esparza, Rob Brown, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Ukweli Roach and Ashley Johnson.
