Blizzard Issues ‘Fair Warning’ To ‘Overwatch’ Players Who Abuse Lucioball Glitch
According to Kaplan, “Apologies for this bug”.

If you’re going to use the exploit in Overwatch that lets you bring characters other than Lucio into Lucioball, be prepared for trouble.
The game’s director, Jeff Kaplan, posted on the game’s official forums that if players continue to exploit the glitch and import game-changing characters, they will be punished. In the game, Lucioball restricts players to use only Lucio with modified abilities to play soccer in Estadio Des Ras.
It’s called Lucioball, and is set in a Rocket League-style arena.
However, an as-yet-unfixed bug means that some players have worked out how to import other characters like Bastion and D.Va into the game.
On top of that, it also came with limited-edition Loot Boxes that has more than 100 items in store, including sprays, highlight intros, skins and even legendary ones, emotes and many others.
Needless to say, the glitch is game breaking, as players who pick out other heroes have an unfair advantage over the opposing team, particularly when they use someone like Torbjörn, whose turrets recently got nerfed on the PS4 back in July.
As many Overwatch fans have noticed since the game’s launch, Blizzard has been adamant about maintaining a fair and balanced experience for the title’s legions of fans, which has resulted in numerous punishments ranging from significant XP penalties for those leaving matches early to banning large groups of cheaters for using “aimbots” or “triggerbots”.

We don’t know exactly how Blizzard intends to punish bug exploiters in this instance but still, you probably shouldn’t risk it.
