Bloodborne: The Old Hunters DLC trailer released

New Bloodborne DLC was unveiled earlier this week, just a handful of days before the 2015 Tokyo Game Show, but those excited about the impending debut of Bloodborne: The Old Hunters might want to start preparing themselves for an unpleasant truth. One new little tidbit is that Sony and From Software aren’t expecting to put out any more DLC for the very successful game. Game developer FromSoftware knew what fans have been asking for, which is why they have the new expansion pack, The Old Hunters coming out this Fall season.

The map itself felt rather linear, which may be a result of paring things down for a fast-paced TGS demo, but so far it lacks the sprawling feel of most of the Souls DLC. The Old Hunters is scheduled to launch on November 24. It took that long, but that’s because of the sheer amount of volume. Essentially, the two pieces of DLC have been wrapped into one with The Old Hunters.

Bloodborne: The Old Hunters is being developed exclusively for PlayStation 4. Journey to a world where hunters from the past are trapped forever, find multiple new outfits and weapons to add to your hunter arsenal, and explore brand new stages full of dangers, rewards, and deadly beasts to hunt.

The new saw weapon mentioned in the description has been named Simon’s Bowblade, with Sony also revealing that there will not be a retail disc version of The Old Hunters expansion.

Bloodborne’s DLC won’t be impacting Chalice Dungeons, but there are changes headed their way. “We won’t be touching them in the DLC, but we’re thinking of making them easier for everyone to play”, said Yamagiwa.
