Blowing snow, wind chill to cause main concern this weekend
The National Weather Service Cleveland Office has issued a wind chill advisory for the area through 10 a.m. on Sunday.

In Genesee, Wyoming, Orleans and Livingston counties, the wind chill warning is in effect from 5 a.m. this morning to 10 a.m. Sunday.
According to a wind chill chart provided by the weather service, frost bite can set in within about 30 minutes at those low temperatures and wind speeds. Temperatures will crash through the rest of the day as winds pick up, gusting over 35 miles per hour at times.
“After a quick coating – 1” of snow fell last night in the Susquehanna Valley from an approaching cold front, we are now waking up to blustery winds and some bitter wind chills. In Wisconsin and Minnesota, there is a chance for wind chills as low minus 30 degrees below zero. “The air temperature is going to be near record-low value”.
The Chicago-area will get hit with a blast of bone-chilling temperatures over the weekend as wind chills dip below zero.
A wind chill advisory for the Thumb area warns of wind chills bottoming-out at negative 25 degrees, Schultz said.
Monday: Increasing clouds. Chance for snow developing at night.
A quick low pressure system will pass to our south tonight bringing some minor snow accumulations, mainly for the Cape/Islands.
The heaviest snow is expected from southeastern Minnesota into northeastern Iowa and far southwestern Wisconsin, where a winter weather advisory is in effect from 9 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday. At this point, the models seem to favor a western track meaning some snow is still possible but it will likely mix with some ice and eventually turn to rain.
Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 27.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 18.

It’ll be cloudy to start Sunday with snow moving in early morning out west and spreading east into Indy mid-morning.
