Jeff Kuss, of Durango, Colorado, who was killed in a Blue Angels crash, was known for aiming high.

According to a release from Naval Air Forces, the Blue Angels canceled their upcoming performances at the Syracuse International Air Show and Vectren Dayton Air Show.
On the day their fallen pilot’s body was flown home, the Navy’s elite flight team announced they have canceled two more June appearances while they take an operational pause.
The Blues were one of 12 flying attractions scheduled to appear at the 42nd annual show.
Spokesman Roger Doctor says there just isn’t enough time for the demonstration team to pull everything together between last week’s deadly crash and the air show June 18 & 19.
The Tactical Demonstration Teams are created to demonstrate the mobility and power of F/A-18 Hornets and Super Hornets. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Captain Kuss’s family and the Blue Angel team members”.

The Blue Angels are scheduled to perform three shows during the National Cherry Festival in northern MI on July 2-4.
