Blue Bell ice cream is another step closer to being back on store shelves.
To those of you anxiously awaiting the return of your beloved Blue Bell, it appears your long national nightmare is over. And yes, they are filled with Blue Bell Ice Cream!
“We’re hard at work and want to bring you the same great-tasting ice cream as soon as possible!” the company said on Twitter. Blue Bell production facilities in Texas and Oklahoma have not yet been cleared to resume production.
In July, Blue Bell announced Sid Bass, who is worth an estimated $1.7 billion, according to Forbes, had become a partner in an effort to save the company. And yes, they are filled with Blue Bell Ice Cream! Earlier in the year, Blue Bell had to recall a number of its ice cream products due to it being contaminated with listeria.
The company issued a voluntary recall in April after a listeria outbreak sickened people and is linked to three deaths.
