Blue Bell pulled its products off the market after a listeria outbreak was discovered in January.

“We continue to fill stores in phase two but we can now focus our attention on the addition of phase three beginning December 14”, said Ricky Dickson, vice president of sales and marketing for Blue Bell. Approximately 1,000 furloughed workers, company-wide, will be back on the job by the end of 2015.

The company says they’ve moved carefully into each phase to build their inventory before moving to a new area.

The company returned to production in August and has been distributing to various areas of the country in phases since then.
