In another tweet, the company said they’ll soon announce which stores will carry the products.

Blue Bell in April voluntarily recalled all products after its treats were linked to 10 listeria illnesses in four states, including three deaths in Kansas.

Tuesday, the company sent out a Tweet with a video of a truck, which got many people talking about Blue Bell’s comeback. The announcement from Blue Bell comes after a almost four month hiatus on producing and shipping ice cream after the listeria bacteria was found at multiple locations.

We don’t know where it’s going – but Blue Bell ice cream is on the road again.

This is good news for ice cream lovers all around the country. The first shipments of Blue Bell Ice Cream, since the recalls, have begun.

While Blue Bell trucks were spotted on the road, a spokesperson for the plant in Broken Arrow says they’re not reopening just yet. The plant in Alabama was passed by the Alabama Department of Public Health for safety, and allowed to go into production again.

The company stopped production and started extensive cleaning and decontamination at its plants in Brenham, Alabama and Oklahoma.

The company began a trial run of ice cream production at its Sylacauga plant on July 22.

One of the major reasons the company is able to bounce back so quickly is because of an investment by Sid Bass, a prominent Texas businessman who become a partner in June.
