Buster Olney of ESPN is reporting that Blue Jays starter Drew Hutchison is heading to the Pirates in the deal. Feldman is in the final year of a three-year, $30 million contract. Shortly after that, the Blue Jays got righty Mike Bolsinger from the Los Angeles Dodgers for reliever Jesse Chavez and cash considerations. In addition, Toronto acquired right-hander Scott Feldman from the Houston Astros for minor league right-hander Lupe Chavez. He went into a tailspin early this season and saw his ERA soar to 5.46 in 21 starts.

Feldman, 33, is a 12-year-old veteran who appeared in 26 games for the Astros, five of them starts.

The 18-year-old Gaudalupe Chavez is in his third professional season and second with the Gulf Coast Blue Jays. He struggled in the majors last season with a 5.57 ERA. He made six starts for the Dodgers during their stint of pitching injuries but he was 1-4 with a 6.83 ERA. Sanchez is 11-1 with a 2.71 ERA, but he’s thrown 139.1 innings, already soaring past his 92.1 innings a year ago. In Triple-A in 13 appearance, he has made two starts and has a 2-1 record with a 3.41 ERA.
