Roach said “I would like to see him fight again, yes”, while stressing he would back Pacquiao whatever he decided.

Las Vegas -With a minute left in the final fight of Manny Pacquiao’s career, the crowd began to rise to its feet, one section of the MGM Grand after another-until there was one huge ovation of fans cheering the name of the fighter that had thrilled audiences for 15 years.

After this performance, perhaps Pacquiao should stay around a bit longer because he looked good in pounding out a unanimous decision over Bradley in the welterweight main event before 14,665 at MGM Grand. He gave his usual Manny Paquiao shrug-off response with words that were, as expected, self-effacing.

“Let me enjoy first a retired life”, Pacquiao said.

The morning after his unanimous decision victory over Timothy Bradley, Pacquiao preached in front of close to a thousand people about how the God’s word has blessed his life.

Marquez feels Canelo, who fought his last four bouts at 155-pounds and rehydrates to over 170, as being too big. “His comments against the LGBT community have surely alienated a lot of people and given him much notoriety internationally but I don’t think the backlash is big enough to prevent him from assuming higher office”.

His win underlined his superiority over Bradley following their bout two years ago, when he avenged his shock loss to the American during their first meeting in 2012.

A poignant development happened in the form of spectators spontaneously standing up at the Garden Arena and applauding during a lull in the twelfth round. More fights for Manny? He also said that he would like to have a breakfast with Bradley on Sunday. No sooner had the scorecards been read – judges Dave Moretti, Burt Clements and Steve Weisfeld all had Pacquiao ahead 116-110 – than Pacquiao announced he was retiring from boxing to focus on his political career. The promoters made the decision it would appear based on the success of the first two fights in terms of PPV buys. However, Pacquiao found his range with his killer left in the fourth round, and the tables turned drastically.

When Bradley fell in the seventh, he seemed to have slipped after absorbing a combination, but his glove did touch the canvas. You could hear Pacquiao’s punches land, and you couldn’t hear Bradley’s almost as well.

Joshua is also just the third man to win a pro heavyweight world title while still a reigning Olympic champion.

If Pacquiao really interested in continuing his career, he would say it right now.

“When I see Manny Pacquiao like that, this is the best Manny Pacquiao”, trainer Freddie Roach said.
