Nine police motorcycles led two black stretched limousines carrying the Houston family into the church. A procession of dozens of automobiles adopted.
Security was heavy outside the church.

Mayor Kasim Reed and Grammy-winning R&B singer Monica also attended the Saturday service at the St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta. She advised Oprah Winfrey shortly after her mom’s demise in 2012 that she needed to hold on Houston’s legacy by singing, appearing and dancing. Sadly, his faith that she would recover was not rewarded, and around a fortnight ago, Bobbi was transferred to a hospice so that she could pass peacefully surrounded by her family and friends.
