In a recent interview with Us, Whitney Houston‘s ex-husband Bobby Brown confirmed rumors that she had a same-sex affair with her assistant Robyn Crawford. During the interview, the 47-year-old singer opened up about late wife Whitney Houston, daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, his plans for the future, and more.

“I know”, he told the magazine when asked about Whitney’s relationship with Robyn. “He is in a different place in his life, he does not make excuses for the mistakes that we all tend to make, his greater than some of us, the mistakes – and just owned up to it, but also wants to talk about where he is now, and where he wants to go”.
Although Whitney strongly denied the claims, Brown says it could have been because her family and her mother, Cissy Houston, in particular, didn’t approve of the lesbian relationship – even insisting Crawford be fired.
As Radar extensively reported, Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, and a friend found her face-down in her bathtub on January 31, 2015. “I only wish he had loved and respected her enough to make some of the negative statements about her and Krissi while Whitney was alive and able to respond from her perspective”. In fact, he says the first time he saw her do hard drugs was on their wedding day.
She added, “My mother raised me to never, ever be ashamed of what I am. Instead he waited to speak about her when she could no longer speak for herself”. Brown also writes his bride-to-be said she was indulging in the illegal drug because she was “nervous”.
Sadly, Brown says that Bobbi Kristina had agreed to move to Los Angeles. An autopsy revealed she had marijuana, alcohol, “a cocaine-related substance”, sedatives, anti-anxiety medications and morphine in her system at the time of her death.
