Bobby Jindal Offers A Juice Box For Christie’s ‘Participation’ In Debate
He said Christie’s team “anticipated” attacks from a “desperate” Jindal.

Four GOP presidential candidates who failed to earn an average of 2.5 percent in four national polls to qualify for the main debate faced off in the Fox Business Channel / Wall Street Journal undercard.
“We are a country that is being beaten on every front economically, militarily”, said Front-runner Donald Trump. “I’ll give you a ribbon for participation and juice box”, he added in the night’s most memorable line, as Christie highlighted his state’s Democratic-controlled legislature.
Jindal said the electorate should not vote for a big-government Republican who would essentially represent a second-class Democratic Party.
The most memorable moment for Santorum came when he tried to play off Jindal and Christie’s tension.
“The Chinese don’t take us seriously and why should they?”
“I’m one of the victims of that hack”, he said.
Jindal didn’t only go after his opponents on stage – he also went after Republicans who weren’t on stage. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).
“We need to make the tax code fairer, flatter and simpler – the American people feel the tax code is rigged for the rich”, said Christie.
Throughout the debate, Christie kept a tight focus on Clinton on issues ranging from taxes to crime to veterans’ care. But it was in his closing statement that he really zeroed in.
“Mike, with all due respect”, Jindal replied, “I admire your social views, I share many of those views”.
“Hillary Clinton believes she can make the decisions for you better than you can for yourself …” Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina was able to use her position in the first undercard debate to catapult herself into the top-tier of candidates, and a few hoped Christie might be able to bounce back.
“We are just going to open our doors and we don’t have any idea who these people are, but we do know that only one out of five of the so-called Syrian refugees who went into Europe are actually Syrian”, Huckabee stressed. Christie did not speak to reporters himself after the debate.
The candidates also jousted with the moderators, refusing to answer a question about their favorite Democrat in government and instead re-asserting their own platforms.
Jindal then listed economic figures from Arkansas saying, “That’s not a record of cutting”. After that he went on to say: “We should do everything in our power to crush Hitler and his Nazi forces”.
“We don’t reduce the IRS”.

Huckabee said there’s a difference between welfare programs and entitlement mentality. “I got to tell you, I don’t have a lot of sympathy”, Christie said. That’s a nonsense statement. “And I hear it all the time”. “You paid for it and you shouldn’t have to pay the penalty because the government screwed it up”. Yahoo News asked DuHaime whether he thought Christie’s performance tonight would put him back on the main stage when Republicans again debate in December. “It seems to be the worst in cities run by Democrats, states run by Democrats and countries now run by Democrats”.
